The 'fireless kitchen' emphasizes raw, organic cuisine designed to reduce inflammation and aid detoxification. Prakriti Shakti follows a three-phase dietary approach: Eliminative diet (detoxification via therapeutic juices and fasting), Soothing diet (vegetable and fruit combinations), and Constructive diet (nourishing raw food dishes). The chef has expertise in making attractive raw food that's delicious, and most guests change their opinion about raw food after experiencing the clinic's preparations.
Light diets redirect digestive energy to healing areas, with doctors monitoring body readings twice daily to ensure adequate nutrition throughout treatment. Tea, coffee, and alcohol are strictly prohibited on the property.
Location & Access
Located 2,500 feet above sea level in the hills of Panchalimedu, Idukki District, Kerala, the clinic is accessible by air from Cochin International Airport (COK), 130 kms away, or by rail from Kottayam station, 70 kms away. The property is built 1,000 metres up in the hills, set over 16 acres of lush plantation land in the Western Ghats region.
The area enjoys fresh, pollution-free air with pleasant weather throughout the year, temperatures between 15-32°C, green landscapes, and clear sunlight overlooking the Periyar forest hills.
